This is my story of how I became a speaker and why you sometimes feel like a rock star? Part 3 of 3

Now I would like to compare Kscope to a dream concert. Why? Because I see a lot of similarities with a surprising finale.

Imagine that your favourite band or singer comes to your neighbourhood. What are you doing? You wait with a flushed face for the ticket sale day, you search, you wait in a virtual queue, you look for the best seats, you pay, you get tickets. Yes! You will be part of this show!

What does it look like from the Kscope side? You find out about the event, you submit an abstract, you wait, wait and wait some more... And suddenly, you find out you've been selected, you get your ticket as a speaker. Yes! You will be part of this show!

See the analogy?

Let's take this idea a little further. You prepare for the concert in the right way, you look for the right outfit, you listen to your favourite songs of the star of the evening more often, learning them by heart, you take a day off, or even a few days if you need to get somewhere, organise accommodation, travel, etc.

And now Kscope. You also need to prepare yourself for such a conference. Even if you are not a speaker, you have to think about the outfit, the agenda, but you also take a day off, or even a few, you have to get to the place, organise accommodation, travel, etc.

Another analogy.

Let's move on. Concert: the desired day arrives, you go to the venue all excited, the atmosphere becomes more and more interesting, more and more people arrive at the venue. You are looking for a suitable place for you. You sit down, you wait. After the right time, the stars of the evening appear on the stage, people you used to know from Twitter or there X now, youtube or other blogs are at your fingertips! You see them live!

And Kscope? Let's think: the longed-for day arrives, you go to the places all excited, the atmosphere is getting more and more interesting ... The entire previous paragraph can be attributed to both events.

And another analogy.

And now I will try to prove to you why, in my opinion, Kscope is better than your dream concert.

Imagine that you wait half a year at a concert, and on the day of the concert you still have the whole day to see your dream idols on stage for 2 hours. And on Kscope, not only will you see idols on stage, but for a few days you can talk to them calmly during the breaks, you learn that they are actually normal people with great knowledge, often an amazing sense of humour, nice, and smiling.

And you know what?

Sometimes even recognizing you! Yes Yes! And here is the twist of my story! Thanks to being an announcer at such a global conference, you can feel for a while like a star of the evening, like an idol, like a person whose speech someone else has been waiting for half a year!

And this, in my opinion, is the magic of an onsite conference! You are the rock star for a moment! You are the one who gets applause after the words "thank you for attention"! It's you who people want to talk to after the presentation! And they posted a photo of your presentation on Twitter/X because they were happy to hear it live!

And how else to build your own brand than by just such a performance and being that star, even for a short while?

What next?

What are my plans for the future? As long as my private life allows me: to be part of this event! Participate in the conference onsite, and not just be an avatar on the monitor during an online conference.

After such an event as an international conference onsite, you have the will, strength and adrenaline to do it next year! And that's the beauty of onsite conferences. You want more!

Final thought

I encourage all of you reading this article to sign up as a speaker for the conference onsite. Emotions, experiences, conversations, places and, above all, the people you meet there are impossible to describe in any article and not to be seen on any video of such an event.

You have to experience it at least once in your life! I wish each of you to feel like the star of the evening at least once in your life!

Thank you for reading,

THE END of the conference series.
